I was visiting with someone who I have not seen in several years. As we were interacting at a meal, I noticed how this person has not matured at all. In fact, it seemed they went backward.
1 Corinthians 13:11 says When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
There is a maturing process that happens in prayer. Sometimes the answer to some questions is doing something rather than receiving an immediate answer. Is this a no? We have to mature in the faith and in our character to handle gifts that come from our father. You wouldn’t give a 5-year-old something he can’t handle.
