Many people, Christians and non-Christians alike, believe that showing profit publicly is a sign of vanity, but nothing could be further from the truth! God wants us to be profitable and he wants us to show others that we’re profitable. Christian businesses understand that Godliness is profitable.

How God wants us to show profit

1 Timothy 4:15 states, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” God wants us to show others when we prosper when we live our lives, and run our businesses, in a Christ-like fashion. The Bible states, “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy”. Our prosperity, our profit, is a gift from God, and one that should be celebrated.

Profit is God’s promise

As Christian business owners, it’s our duty to show our profit. God has made us promises and it is because of these promises that we profit. When we show these profits to others, that further showcases God’s glory. Being a profitable Christian business is a blessing, and one we must show others so they can see the value and beauty of running a faith-based business.

Your profit should appear to all

As a Christian, we should never be boastful, but showing success and giving glory to God for these successes is something we all must do as Christian business owners. Keeping God’s commandments, living a Christ-like life and sharing his word with others through our business is what makes our businesses succeed. When our profit, which came to us through God’s promises, appears to all, we are able to show all that there is indeed a God, who is a good God and wants to bless His children.
