It’s Easter time again! A time when we may ponder how much God really loves us, even when we have missed it over and over again, He still loves us. It’s hard for us to think in those terms, to love the unlovable, yet He did. Even when we didn’t love him in return, He loved us. The value of something is what someone is willing to pay a price for. So, when we were still unlovable, separated from Him with sin, He paid the highest price for us. Think of what Jesus went through in those few days. The lies, rejection, the beatings, being nailed to a cross for a crime He didn’t commit. But He loved us so much He was willing not to defend himself, could have stop it at any time with just one word, but He didn’t, because He loved us so much. Jesus did it so you wouldn’t be separated from God the Father. Think of the Father seeing his son in agony on that cross and He also could have stopped it at any time, but He didn’t. Jesus willingly was made to be sin with our sin 2 Corinthians 5.21 and hang there in our place. So, the greatest transaction ever happened that day and it was all God’s plan for redemption. 1 John 3:16 (“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us”). Jesus had committed no sins, so he became sin for our sins. We were not righteous, yet we became righteous with His righteousness. We could never in any amount of time earn salvation by good works. The good news is it is a free gift! All you must do is say yes and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. To live with Him for eternity in heaven! Wow! What kind of love is this? Only the amazing love from our loving Father God.

So, this Easter weekend just think how much your Father and Lord loves you! As you go to church, remember how important you are to Him and for us to reflect how important He is to us and how much we love our God. This is the day that we get to honor our Savior Jesus Christ for what He did for us. The greatest price paid, for the greatest gift given, all motivated by the greatest love, all for you!

Have a wonderful, blessed Easter from all of us at Christian Biz Connect!
