What is your word?

As far as I can remember, I’ve heard preachers teaching, find the scripture for your circumstance.  At first, I really didn’t understand the concept and really didn’t act on the instructions given to me.  It wasn’t until I was faced with a bad report from the doctors that I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Besides going through a mountain of emotional rollercoasters, I remembered the word I had learned years ago and knew what I had to do.  Stand on the word of God about healing.  I have this book from Charles Capps that helped me through this mountain that came before me.  At this time, this is when I realized how powerful the word of God really was.  It’s not just a book of instructions to get us through this world while we are here.  It is power!  It literally carried me through this time of my life.

Declaring His word over your circumstance mixed with your faith, (even if your faith is down), God’s supernatural power manifests and brings you through any circumstance.

Ephesians 6:14 says Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, (the word is truth), and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (we are made righteous through Jesus Christ and what he did for us on the cross).

So Jesus’ instructions are very clear.  Stand, therefore, stand.  And don’t give up!  God’s word never comes back void!
