The state of the world is such that Christians must unite around our common love for Jesus Christ, putting our divisions and disunity aside. At CBC, our goal is to supply a venue for the body of Christ to unite and communicate outside the walls of the church without divisions. Doing so will create a new forum to reach the lost and hurting world with the love of Jesus.

Disunity is nothing new. When the Corinthian church began to splinter into small groups—separating from one another, Apostle Paul was compelled to write a letter to them.

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT

The Bible tells us that God himself places us in His body where He wills, to accomplish His purposes. We all have different callings, but we are called to work in unity and harmony to achieve His goals and to expand the Kingdom of God.

Our Father created us to be unique, yet, “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love” (Ephesians 4:16 NLT).

What you and I supply joins us together in love. Where you are weak, I am strong, and where I am weak, you are strong. Joined together, we are both strong—and the world will know we are Christians by our love.
