At each holiday we celebrate, we ponder and think about who Jesus is and what He represents or what He has done for us.  To me Easter is the most holy day in Christianity.  For me it represents everything it is to be a Christian, receiving salvation, eternal life with Him in heaven, plus so much more!  He has given us a new start, a new life through salvation.  A new being-a new man. New beginnings.

The Lord showed me something unique I’ve never seen before in one of my daily devotionals written by Kenneth E. Hagin.  It was shown to him from Jesus how to receive by faith, by using 4 steps, say it, do it, receive it and tell it.  So, whatever you want from God, do these 4 steps and He (Jesus) or God the Father will give them to you.

Say it – In Correlation to this the Holy Spirit showed me something I never seen before about what Jesus did for us on the cross.  Before He was crucified, He went to the Father pleading this cup be removed from Him.  Submitting to the Father’s will, He also said, not my will, but your will be done.  Jesus SAID to the apostles what was going to be done to Him – He said it.

Do it – He went to the cross for the salvation of mankind.  He DID it!   Most Christians remember just that part.  Not negating that part at all, but there is so much more.  He is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, He is the king of righteousness, king of healing, king of prosperity.  He bought back the authority God originally gave to man over the earth.  Jesus brought it back to man once again through the redemption at the cross.  He paid the price, the ransom for our deliverance from sin, which is separation from God.

Receive it – Jesus was illegally taken to hell.  Satin thought he had him, the son of God.  Satin tried to birth Jesus’ spirit into hell, but because he did it illegally, he couldn’t keep Him there. Romans 1:4 – The Holy Spirit declared Him the son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead.  Colossians 2:13-15 explains what He did for our redemption.  He took the keys of hell and death away from Satin.  By Him going to hell, he paid a debt He didn’t owe.

Tell it – Jesus came back, walked this earth for 40 days.  Math 28:18-29, Mark 16:9, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:46-49 and several accounts in John 20 and the list goes on of many seeing Jesus, resurrected from the dead!  Praise God!  That power in which He was raised is in each and every one of us who has received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Jesus walked as an example, the crucifixion, the foundation of Christianity.  He said it, He did it, He received it, and He told it.  He did it first, setting an example for the children of God.  A basic 4 step protocol to receive what we want.

So, when we think, what do we want from God?  It seems so minuscule compared to the walk and sacrifice Jesus did for us on the cross, in which He did out of the love He has for us.  Everything He did for us, for healing, prosperity, authority, forgiveness and the list goes on.  My question is why aren’t we harnessing these gifts?  Decreeing and declaring in His name, these things in this world in which we have the victory over because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

This Easter I challenge you, when you go to church and listen to the story of the cross, open your spiritual ears differently and hear what is right in front of you, what is legally yours, what you have inherited through His blood that was poured out for you.  Because of the unfailing love from our king, sacrificing himself, for His body, His church, His bride.

For me, I want to receive everything He has done for me and make Him pleased with my walk while I am here on this earth.  Doing His will and being obedient for what He has ordained me to do for the kingdom of God and for His glory.

So, what will you do with the new beginning Jesus mad available to you?

In His name,

Noelle Zulli Adams
